Advanced AMM

Ancient Technology meets Modern DeFi

Atlantis operates on advanced V4 architecture, delivering modular innovation that transforms traditional DEX limitations into competitive advantages. Below is a simplified description of the key components of Atlantis V4 features.

Core V4 Features

Fully Modular Architecture. Core liquidity functions remain immutable while peripheral features (fees, oracles, farming) can be upgraded through plugins without liquidity migration.

Maximized Capital Efficiency. Concentrated liquidity enables LPs to deploy capital within specific price ranges, maximizing returns and minimizing slippage for targeted trading ranges.

Rebase Token Support. Unlike standard AMMs where rebase tokens get trapped, our V4 automatically distributes accrued tokens directly to liquidity providers.

Gas Optimization. Completely redesigned smart contracts deliver reduced gas compared to traditional DEXs while expanding functionality.

Atlantis V4 offers superior efficiency compared to Uniswap V4, especially in large swaps and tick-crossing scenarios. For instance, Atlantis V4 uses 14% less gas than Uniswap V4 for standard swaps (102,910 vs. 117,422) and 236% less for large swaps (103,009 vs. 346,421).

Even with multiple tick crossings, Atlantis V4 is more efficient, using only 152,666 gas compared to Uniswap V4’s 154,086. While Uniswap V4 excels in double swaps, Atlantis V4 shines in large trades, tick-crossing swaps, and high-volume transactions, providing faster and more cost-effective DeFi experiences.

Plugin System

As a modular V4 DEX, Atlantis can continuously upgrade and evolve, aligning with the latest DeFi innovations. This makes us a leader in the space, always pushing the latest technology to our users, ensuring they stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of decentralized finance. Instead of the need to redeploy like other DEXs, Atlantis has the capability to utilize plug-ins to give users access to new state-of-the-art functions, making us the ultimate final destination for anything DeFi on Monad.

Improved Capital Efficiency

The V4 AMM system‘s ability to optimize capital efficiency is a result of precise and effective resource management. Through stringent control over liquidity positions and enhanced algorithms for liquidity management, the V4 AMM system ensures that every unit of capital is utilized to its fullest potential. This feature benefits experienced DeFi users who seek intricate and rewarding liquidity provisions.

Enhanced Fee Structure

The Atlanteans were known for adapting their economic systems to optimize trade and ensure prosperity. In a similar vein, Atlantis‘ V4 AMM introduces a dynamic fee structure that adjusts based on market conditions, trading volume, and other factors. This adaptive fee structure incentivizes liquidity providers and potentially reduces slippage for traders, reflecting the Atlantean philosophy of maintaining a balanced and thriving economy through responsive and strategic adjustments.

Advanced Order Types

Once Atlantis V4 hits mainnet, traders will gain access to a suite of advanced order types designed to elevate trading strategies and refine risk management techniques. This new release will include the introduction of order types such as limit orders, stop-loss orders, and time-weighted average price (TWAP) orders. Each of these advanced order types plays a crucial role in providing traders with greater control and flexibility in managing their positions and making informed decisions.

Limit orders allow traders to specify the maximum price they are willing to pay when buying or the minimum price they are willing to accept when selling, ensuring better price execution.

Stop-loss orders provide an essential mechanism for risk management by automatically selling a security when its price falls to a predetermined level, thereby limiting potential losses.

TWAP orders enable traders to divide large orders into smaller chunks and execute them at regular intervals, reducing market impact and achieving a more favorable average price over time.
